About

.

This is The Travellers’ Bible. Born from a desire to bring travellers together and share their knowledge, a lazy student with too much time on his hands made the first tentative steps towards creating the ultimate travel guide. With your help, we can turn this into an amazing free online guidebook.

The Travellers’ Bible is a user-edited guidebook project, created to help travellers share information in a concise and organised way.

It aims to cover similar material to the quality guide books. However because this is based on the internet the information can be broader, more precise and more up to date. It is also free. For this website to work, we need as many contributers as possible; so please recommend it to as many friends and travellers as possible.

This site has the capacity to provide unique information such as detailed maps, user ratings on accommodation, restaurants and sights, and up to date train and bus timetables with their costs. Hopefully far more destinations will be included than are done in guide books, and users will be able to upload their photos to image galleries, in order to show others what these destinations look like.

This is a wiki-based website (similar to the Wikipedia website). This means that the information is based on that provided by users (who are able to edit the content as they wish). For more information on wikis, please click here.
